Save the date for the 17th annual FCCMA Winter Institute. Join a new conversation about the BIG Ideas needed for the Future of Local Government in Florida. The cost to attend will be $200 for FCCMA Members, a reduction of $125 from recent years.

The 2011 FCCMA Winter Institute combines the Institute's intense learning environment with the
Alliance for Innovation's national BIG Ideas meeting.

Winter Institute attendees will participate in an interactive and provocative conversation during an exploration of the following topics:

The Future Structure of Florida Governments
Structural Deficiencies in the Tax System
Placemaking
Natural and Energy Related Resources

Using a facilitator, panels, and small and large groups, participants will be called upon to analyze the changes that are occurring in our society, articulate critical issues for Florida, and identify the innovations needed to address those issues.

The Winter Institute will be held at the Lake Mary Marriott, in Lake Mary, FL February
