Committee
Description
This committee is
responsible for approving all new members,
which is usually done via email.
It will:
- Address any problems or ideas relative to membership in FCCMA
- Assist in recruitment of new members
- Participate in a luncheon or breakfast for MITs at conference and plan the
agenda
- Develop and formalize a program to assign a
“mentor” to new members to encourage their involvement in the Association
through committee work, etc.
- Develop a recruitment and
retention strategy by district and geographic areas
- Encourage involvement by small
municipalities and counties by:
- Providing financial assistance, if needed, to promote
participation in FCCMA events
- Active recruitment
- Support additional tech-based FCCMA events
- Regionalized events
