Committee Description

This committee is responsible for approving all new members, which is usually done via email.  It will:

  • Address any problems or ideas relative to membership in FCCMA
  • Assist in recruitment of new members
  • Participate in a luncheon or breakfast for MITs at conference and plan the agenda
  • Develop and formalize a program to assign a “mentor” to new members to encourage their involvement in the Association through committee work, etc.
  • Develop a recruitment and retention strategy by district and geographic areas
  • Encourage involvement by small municipalities and counties  by:
    • Providing financial assistance, if needed, to promote participation in FCCMA events
    • Active recruitment
    • Support additional tech-based FCCMA events
    • Regionalized events
