2008-2009 Local
Government Awareness Committee
This committee will
work to proactively promote professional
management and defend the Council-Manager
form of government when needed.
This committee may be asked to design
ways to educate students and citizen groups
on civics—how cities and counties work.
An idea is to develop a program that
can be “taken on the road.”
This committee is also responsible
for telling the positive government/manager
stories as they occur.
