The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The Association was chartered in 1946 as a non-profit corporation to elevate professionalism among the state’s 478 cities and counties, and to promote the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.
We are committed to fostering a professional environment where every individual is recognized for their unique strengths and encouraged to thrive.
We believe that our strength as an association comes from the variety of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives represented among our membership.
We are dedicated to ensuring that every member has meaningful opportunities for growth, contribution, and success.
By fostering an environment rooted in mutual respect and shared purpose, we build trust with the public and with each other.
This public trust is the foundation of our commitment to deliver professional management.
