FCCMA is saddened to announce the passing of Richard Quigley, a member since 1977.
Richard Quigley, who served two years as Daytona Beach city manager in the early 2000s and in other local government roles for decades, died on Aug. 13 at age 83.
The Queens, New York, native, who also grew up on Long Island before making his way to Florida, was married to his wife, Pat, for 64 years.
“The family was No. 1. It was always No. 1,” Pat Quigley said in a Sept. 16 phone interview. “And we have five grown children and seven grandchildren. That was always No. 1, and, of course, his profession he absolutely loved.”
