The City of Safety Harbor, Florida, is seeking a seasoned and visionary Library Director.
Reporting to the City Manager, this is a leadership role responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and coordination of high-quality community library services. The position requires independent judgment and decision-making within the framework of City policies and procedures. This role provides administrative and operational leadership to the Library management team and staff.
Required Training and Experience: Master’s degree in library science from an American Library Association accredited college or university. Five years of progressively responsible professional library experience of which at least two years must be in direct administration and/or supervision of library operations. Valid Florida Driver’s License.
