PINELLAS COUNTY – Budget Analyst

As a County Budget Analyst, you are a trusted advisor and strategic partner. You will work at the intersection of data, policy, and community need — guiding departments through the annual budget process, analyzing program performance, and helping County leadership allocate resources in ways that maximize public value.

You will collaborate with departments to build budgets that align with strategic priorities; analyze operational and financial data to assess efficiency, performance, and outcomes; provide recommendations to County leadership that improve service delivery and cost-effectiveness; monitor revenues and expenditures throughout the fiscal year, flagging risks and opportunities; and contribute to budget publications and presentations that tell a clear story of how taxpayer dollars are used.
