The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The Association was chartered in 1946 as a non-profit corporation to elevate professionalism among the state’s 478 cities and counties, and to promote the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.
FCCMA offers annual and monthly trainings and events to promote educational opportunities for our members.
Senior Advisors are retired city and county managers with lengthy experience who are respected within the public management field.
They are appointed by the boards of directors of the FCCMA and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA).
FCCMA and Strategic government Resources (SGR) partner to support MIT members.
As an MIT, you receive free access to recourses to assist you in your personal and professional career development.
FCCMA offers multiple annual scholarships to promote students pursuing education and careers in public administration.
