The City of Haines City, Florida, is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as its next City Manager. Located in the heart of Central Florida, Haines City is one of the fastest-growing communities in the region and is committed to excellence in public service, strategic growth, and community engagement.

The City Manager serves as the City’s chief administrative officer and oversees municipal operations under the direction of the City Commission.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field;
Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible executive leadership experience in local government;
Strong knowledge of municipal operations, budgeting, personnel management, and Florida Sunshine/Public Records laws.
A Master’s degree and Florida municipal management experience are preferred.
